Spring, Summer & Autumn Activities

Losbydalen and Østmarka offer a wide range of refreshing outdoor activities throughout the summer and autumn seasons. Rent a bicycle or canoe at the hotel, lace up your running shoes, or enjoy peaceful forest walks right outside our doorstep. In late summer and autumn, the forests invite you to pick berries and mushrooms while exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Several scenic routes start right outside the hotel, including the route from Losby Gods to the DNT cabins – perfect for hiking and paddling. Along the way, you’ll pass historic crofter’s cottages, farms, the old water wheel, and traces of the timber trade, while experiencing Losbydalen’s varied landscape of rivers, waterfalls, forest lakes, woodland, and open meadows. On warm summer days, Lake Mønevann is a wonderful spot for swimming and canoeing.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy one of Norway’s finest golf facilities just outside our door. Losby has two separate courses, Østmork the 18 hole championship course and Vestmork the 9 hole course. Losby Gods also offers two tennis courts, with rackets and balls available to borrow.

For a quieter experience, explore the art and sculpture walk at Losby Gods. The gardens feature unique sculptures by Nico Widerberg and Skule Waksvik, while selected artworks and sculptures by Nico Widerberg can also be found inside the hotel.

Winter Activities

In winter, Losby Gods transforms into a peaceful snowy retreat with a variety of seasonal activities. Strap on your skis and enjoy well-prepared cross-country trails starting right outside the hotel, with routes of up to 22 kilometres through forests and open landscapes.

During the winter season, guests can enjoy Europe’s largest Trackman golf simulator centre at Losby Gods. The centre features six simulators, offering world-class indoor golf experiences throughout the winter months. Simulator sessions must be booked in advance.

Just a short drive from Losby Gods, SNØ at Lørenskog offers year-round skiing in a modern indoor ski facility. With alpine slopes, a terrain park, and cross-country skiing options, SNØ makes it possible to enjoy skiing regardless of the season. Learn more and plan your visit at snooslo.no

Winter walking, sledding, and horse-drawn sleigh rides offer classic winter experiences, while cosy moments around the outdoor fire pit invite you to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
