At Losby Gods, you’ll stay surrounded by beautiful nature, historic surroundings, and a wide range of experiences – just 20 minutes from Oslo city centre. Whether you prefer relaxing days with great food and scenic walks, or active days filled with golf, cycling, canoeing and outdoor adventures, you’ll find it all right on our doorstep.

Restaurant & Café

Opening Hours and Dining Information (22 June – 16 August)

Breakfast is served in the restaurant:

Weekdays: 07:00–10:00
Weekends: 07:00–10:30

Breakfast is included for all overnight guests.

During the summer season we do not serve lunch or an à la carte menu in the restaurant. Instead, we invite you to enjoy our Chef’s seasonal three-course menu, prepared using the finest seasonal ingredients.

The restaurant is open for dinner Monday–Saturday, 18:00–21:00.

Tables can be reserved at reception upon arrival

Our Café is open daily and serves a selection of light lunches and delicious hot dishes. No table reservation is required.

Bar & Lounge

Enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail on the terrace after a day of exploring, or challenge your friends and family to a game of shuffleboard, billiards or darts in Compagniet bar after dinner.

Picnic in the Gardens

Borrow one of our picnic baskets, fill it with your favourite treats from the Godscafé, and enjoy a relaxing meal in the English garden or by the beautiful shores of Lake Mønevann.

Activities at Losby Gods

Golf, Tennis & Bicycles

Losby Golf Club offers beautiful courses, a driving range and an indoor Trackman Golf Centre.
Hotel guests can purchase green fees at reception.
During 2026, the 18-hole championship course is being renovated. Play is available on a combined 9 holes at Østmork and 9 holes at Vestmork.

We also have two outdoor tennis courts located in the English garden. Challenge your travelling companions to a friendly match.
Court rental, including rackets and balls: NOK 250 per hour.

Explore the forest roads and scenic trails around Losby by bicycle. We offer both men’s and women’s bikes. Please contact reception to rent a bicycle. Price: NOK 150 per bicycle per day, including helmet.

Canoeing

Experience Østmarka from the water. We rent canoes complete with paddles, life jackets and transport trolley. Please contact reception for rental prices and availability.

Mønevann Beach

One of our most popular walks. Just 10–15 minutes on foot from the hotel you’ll find beautiful Lake Mønevann, featuring a sandy beach, smooth granite rocks and excellent swimming. Public toilets are available at the beach.

Fitness & Hiking

Losby Gods is often described as the hidden gem of Østmarka, offering excellent opportunities for walking, hiking and outdoor activities throughout the year. We hope you’ll take time to explore the beautiful surroundings during your stay. If you prefer indoor exercise, you’ll find our fitness room on the lower ground floor of the hotel.

Padel – Just 15 minutes from Losby Gods you’ll find Just Padel Fjellhamar, a modern padel centre with 13 indoor courts. Rackets can be rented on site and courts are easily booked online.

Swimming in Oslo

On warm summer days, Oslo offers a wide variety of beautiful swimming spots, from sandy beaches and smooth granite shores to harbour baths in the heart of the city.
The City of Oslo provides an updated overview of public beaches, including facilities, water temperature and water quality throughout the summer season.

Triaden Shopping Centre

Just 10 minutes from the hotel you’ll find Thon Shopping Centre Triaden, home to 109 shops, cafés and restaurants.

Lillestrøm

Only a short drive from Losby Gods, Lillestrøm offers charming shopping streets, excellent restaurants and a great selection of shops — perfect if you’d like a taste of city life during your stay.

Strømmen Storsenter

Just 15 minutes from the hotel, Thon shopping centre Strømmen is one of Norway’s largest shopping centres, with around 185 shops, restaurants and entertainment under one roof.

Oslo City Centre

Only 20 minutes from Losby Gods, Oslo city centre offers outstanding shopping, department stores and malls. We recommend parking at Lørenskog Station and taking the train to Oslo Central Station — an easy and convenient way to explore the city without worrying about parking.

IKEA

Just 15 minutes from Losby Gods you’ll find IKEA Furuset, one of Norway’s largest IKEA stores, offering a wide range of furniture, home furnishings and family-friendly facilities.

Want to Explore a Little Further?

As mentioned, Oslo city centre is only a short drive away. Many of our guests choose to park at Lørenskog Station or Lillestrøm Syd Parking Garage before taking the train into the city. It’s quick, convenient and saves you the hassle of city parking. Our reception team will be happy to assist with directions, train schedules or arranging a taxi.
